In the Beginning

2 years ago I created a blog to be a place where I can keep writing to stay in practice, and also to act as an unedited online diary where I could spill the guts, as it were, and possibly run into the odd person here and there and share some thoughts. Not long after creating it, everyone in my family was aware of it and my in-laws decided to bookmark it and keep tabs on it.

So much for being unedited.

So, I went and created this one, lovingly named after one of my favourite novels by Nick Hornby and with the express purpose of serving the purpose that the original blog could no longer function as - an online diary.

I may not post on here often but whenever I have something going through my head that I don't want to talk to anyone I know about, I'll probably write it up here.

And with that, I begin the new blog. And in the immortal words of S.E. Hinton...
